Honda Cars in India has high expectations from the new-generation. Honda Jazz that is set to launch on July 8 2015. And things appear to be going in favor of the company, as it has already received over 2,336 bookings of the car even before its launch. This makes the new-gen Jazz the 3rd best selling product for the Japanese carmaker in June 2015, followed by Honda City -7,187 units and Amaze -6,834 units.
The company sold a total of 18,380 units in June 2015 against 16,316 units in the corresponding month last year, registering a growth of 13 percent. The company also informs that it has sold 44,447 units during April – June 2015 as against 40,718 units during the same period last year, recording 9 per cent growth.

It looks like things are working for Honda. Honda’s new Jazz, which is scheduled to be launched in India on 8 July. New Jazz, indicating that the premium hatchback in its new avatar has indeed many takers, glad to its new style and design.
The new Honda Jazz will get 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio, and can generate a power of 90bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque.
Likely to be priced at about ₹5.5 lakhs, the new Honda Jazz will be offered in five variants (E, S, SV, V and VX), like City, in India.
